Chicharito linked with Fiorentina

Since the day Robin van Persie’s transfer to Manchester United was announced, there were questions everywhere about what would happen of this ‘little pea’ Javier Hernandez. However, now as there are only a few months left for the transfer window to open, speculations are growing over Chicharito’s future as he hardly gets to play first team football at Manchester United.

He has now been linked with Serie A’s Fiorentina as his future at Manchester United becomes more and more ambiguous.

According to an Italian source, Chicharito might be listed for transfer in the January transfer period. Fiorentina are in great need of a striker and had previously failed to sign Dimitar Berbatov from the Red Devils.

If Chicharito leaves United for Fiorentina, he would get to play guaranteed first team football which he isn’t at Manchester United. Chicharito has only played 383 minutes out of the seven official Manchester United games this season and might be interested in moving to Italy to get more playing time.

Other than Fiorentina, Chicharito has caught interest from Real Madrid, FC Porto, Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal.

There has been yet no official statement received either from Chicharito or his agent.
