Team Form
Chelsea
John Terry will not play this match as it is his first match of the four for which he is banned. He has been banned for racially abusing Anton Ferdinand by the Football Association.
Ryan Bertrand and Frank Lampard had to withdraw from the England squad as a result of their illness and injury respectively and will not feature against Tottenham.
Roberto de Matteo’s current lineup has acclaimed great success and he is most likely to play this way with Oscar, Hazard and Mata behind Torres.
Tottenham
AVB will stick to his previous starting XI which could prove fatal for Chelsea. However, Hugo Lloris would be replaced by Brad Friedel in the goalpost.
Benoit Assou-Ekotto has returned to training after avoiding surgery but it is unlikely for him to play this early and Vertonghen will take his place.
Jake Livermore will most probably return but he will not be replacing Sandro or Dembele.
Recent Meetings
When both these London teams go on head-to-head, most of the matches end as draw. There was a major upset at White Hart Lane last season with Chelsea winning by 5 – 1. However, such scores are seen once in a blue moon. Chelsea had Drogba at that time.

What to expect?
Spurs have won the last four matches of the league while Chelsea are on the top of the table so you can expect a lot of attacking and defending from both sides.
You may expect a few bad tackles on Gareth Bale and Eden Hazard and it will be interesting to see both of them in the pitch together.
It will be a match full of heat, excitement and some great goals.
My prediction: 2 – 2 draw.
