Can this 35m player become Arsenal’s Lionel Messi?

It’s been since last season that Gunners have been in race for one of the best German talents coming up through the ranks, Julian Draxler. Last summer transfer window the youngster decided to stay in search for a spot in the World Cup spot for Germany. But this season the player’s move outside Germany looks imminent as he has been heavily linked to the Premier League leaders Arsenal.

Even Arsene Wenger didn’t rule out a move for the youngster after he was asked about the transfer of Draxler.

Everybody’s expecting Arsene Wenger to sign a striker to help support Olivier Giroud, but all the speculation surrounding the club surrounds yet another attacking midfielder.

Admittedly, the boy is something special. If Arsenal were to avoid signing another striker, Draxler would be more than a consolation prize. This young man could represent the future of the club. He could be the talent that drives the club onward to success.

Specially with reports linking Rosicky to Bayern, who has been an important part of the Gunners squad, Draxler would be more than a perfect replacement for the Gunners and can be as important to Arsenal in the future as Messi is to Barcelona.
