Reports in Madrid have suddenly started to claim that Alvaro Morata’s future at Real Madrid looks in doubt as their Italian boss Carlo Ancelotti is more likely to prefer Jesse in place of Alvaro Morata in the starting 11.
Not so long ago it was Morata who was doing the better of the two and any attempts for a loan move then looked unrealistic but since Jesse took the limelight the chances of an exit for Morata must have increased slightly. Alvaro Morata is really rated highly in Spain and is considered Spain’s best talent alongside Isco and Thiago Alcantara.
Marca reported the other day that Real Madrid are playing hard over Morata’s situation and are not allowing him to leave either on loan or transfer. If he’s not going to get minutes then it’s better for all involved that he leaves, at least on loan, but that doesn’t seem to be what Ancelotti or Florentino Perez want.
It’s going to take a good offer to convince Perez to part with Morata and to that end, Marca say Arsene Wenger was ready to pay up to €18m to facilitate a full transfer in January, but again they say that Madrid aren’t interested. A lot will depend on the player, and with his contract running out in June 2015 there’s a danger lurking on the horizon for Madrid.
