Speculations regarding Arsenal and top players in the world have suddenly started to heat up ever since they have achieved the top spot in the Premier League table. There is a specific reason why have Arsenal attracted as big names as Ozil, Benzema and most recently Draxler.
Manchester City, although have been bossing their home games, but still quality signings like Jovetic are nowhere to be seen. Arsenal on the other hand have been more attracting and tough to resist for the top talent in the world because they are famous for giving chances to players to prove themselves.
Probably this is the reason many big players haven’t ruled out the possibility of playing for The Gunners. There is a huge news for Arsenal fans as their long term target Julian Draxler’s club has claimed that they won’t be able to stop Draxler from leaving.
At 20 years old, Draxler has established himself as a key figure at Schalke and has won 10 caps for Germany, with the versatile midfielder hoping to secure a place in Joachim Loew’s World Cup squad. His fine form during that time has led to links with several top European clubs, including Arsenal, and – although he extended his contract until 2018 last summer – he will be able to leave the club at the end of the season if a bid of €45.5 million arrives.
The rumors of a potential departure increased this week following the news Sidney Sam has agreed to join Schalke in the summer and, although their sporting director Heldt insisted that they have no desire to sell Draxler, the club know the matter may be out of their own hands.
“We still hope that Julian stays, but there are elements we can’t influence,” he told Bild
