Fresh reports have started spreading around like fire regarding Lukas Podolski who is seeking exit from The Emirates. Is it because he has been played out of position? But the thing which makes more sense is that recently Podolski showed his discontent on being substituted numerous times and that has made Prince Poldi a little unsettled.
Podolski’s scoring record for Gunners throughout his tenure here has been very impressive with scoring 29 goals in 48 games and 13 assists. But still he is often made scapegoat for the poor team’s performance.
Podolski was also replaced by French striker Olivier Giroud in the FA Cup semi-final win over Wigan resulting in boos.
The striker has openly talked of his frustration at the amount he has been substituted and may decide to join either Schalke or Wolfsburg who are keen to land the player, European football sources have revealed.
Arsenal will have to look for his replacement if he decides to leave along with a striker who can provide them with 30 goals a season alone.
