With the summer transfer window in full swing and nearing its end, Arsenal have been fairly more active in the transfer window and that’s a positive news for The Gunners. Reportes of Arsenal;s interest in Pjanic, an official bid for Cabaye and interest in Michu from Swansea has given a new hope to the fans.
As Arsenal lost out on Luiz Gustavo quite shockingly, this intent alone gives a proof of their interest in a midfielder. According to Football Italia, Arsenal have tabled a £20million price for the ex-Manchester United star and their youth product Paul Pogba who has been a blessing for Juventus after a shock deal to lure him away from Old Trafford.
It seems Saturday’s 3-1 defeat to Aston Villa, combined with the bad injury news, has sparked the Frenchman into action in the transfer market and the Telegraph are reporting that he’s tabled a bid for Juventus’ powerhouse midfielder Pogba. The newspaper doesn’t disclose the exact amount but ITV sport are claiming its £20m.
Paul Pogba was linked to Arsenal before too when his new contract was pending at Old Trafford but the interest from Gunners suddenly cooled down and he then moved to Juventus on a free transfer. Pogba would be an excellent addition to Arsenal as they lack a genuine Defensive Midfielder but Juventus won’t let him move as they have found an ace to fill in for Andrea Pirlo later.
