The Metro claim that Paris Saint-Germain have accepted Arsenal’s £5.6million for Adrien Rabot.
Arsenal were allowed to hold talks with the player over the weekend, claims the Metro, as the player rejected talks for a new contract with the French side.
The Daily Star have also revealed that Arsenal’s bid has been accepted and Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claims ‘the player is on the cusp of joining Arsenal’.
Metro also claim that the Italian side AS Roma have made a late bid hoping to lure the player on the last minute but Arsenal are already in control of the situation as the Gunners have offered him a ‘huge contract’.
The youngster’s contract expires at the end of the season and it is claimed that he really wants to play in England someday.
The central midfielder has represented the French U-21 teams 3 times and made his debut at only 18 years of age. He has also played for the U-19 side.
