There is no doubt in the credibility of the young players from Arsenal. All down to the brilliant eye the French veteran has for young players. Wilshere, Ox, Gibbs and potentially now Sanogo, all look as if they have the strong shoulders which can carry the legacy of Arsenal for many years to come.
But there’s a certain Costa Rican who has impressed every one for his loan spell at Olympiacos. The young land scored a beautifully executed finesse against the struggling Manchester United giving his side a 2-0 lead in the important Champions’ League game.
Arsene Wenger has told Joel Campbell he wants him to be part of Arsenal’s first-team squad next season after a successful loan spell at Olympiacos.
The Costa Rican striker, who scored for the Greek club against Manchester United in the Champions League last month, will be given the chance to prove himself at the Emirates next term.
Olympiacos are keen to sign Campbell, 21, on a permanent basis but they will be thwarted in their ambition, with Arsenal considering a new improved deal for the player.
Wenger still wants to sign another front-line striker in the summer as back-up for Olivier Giroud, with Lukas Podolski likely to leave and Nicklas Bentdner certain to be on his way out at the end of the season.
