The Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has enquired about PSG’s important player Menez who seems to be on the verge of an exit from the French giants PSG after they are keen on the signing of Yohan Cabaye from Newcastle.
According to Le Parisien, the Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has contacted the player’s representatives regarding the possibility of bringing the France international to north London who is looking to strengthen the squad for landing the Premier League trophy at Arsenal after a long unsuccessful period.
Menez, who usually plays on the right wing but can also play up front, is valued at around £12.5 million and will be a free agent in June this year.
The France international, who has picked up 24 caps for his country joined Monaco in 2006 and stayed for two seasons before moving to Roma. In the Italian capital he also stayed two seasons, notching up 84 appearances and seven goals for the Serie A side. Menez then joined PSG in a three-year deal for €8m where he has scored 12 goals in 65 games.
