English source The Metro have claimed that Arsenal have held talks with Gremio to establish a deal to land their defender Bressan.
The Brazilian side are in possession of this youngster who has been rated as the hottest prospect of the Serie A and Arsene Wenger has kept his eyes on him and wishes to bring him to England.
The site claims that Brazilians sorces have revealed that Arsenal have already held initital talks with Gremo’s officials over the 21-year-old and they next plan to send their chief negotiator Dick Law to Brazil for further talks.
Bressan started his career at Juventude as a youngster and then moved to Gremio in 2013. After his impressive performances at the club, he was linked to Santos but it seems more likely that he will move to Europe with Arsenal having the highest chances of landing him.
Wenger wants to bring in the centre-back as competition for Per Mertesacker, Laurent Koscielny and Thomas Vermaelen.
If Arsenal get their hands on this player and then get him a work permit too, it is likely that Bressan will earn a place in Arsenal’s starting XI.
