TMW get a lot of information from agents and people connected to possible deals who’d like to give potential transfers a little more publicity. Every day they have many exclusive interviews with agents and their coverage has really gone up a level over the last couple of months, it’s not just regurgitating rumours anymore.
TMW announced that they were given some serious information regarding Arsenal negotiators and officials landing in Milan to talk about the possible transfers of two Serie A stars. They reported that Gunners were set to meet Alessando Lucci; as the agent was in Milan. They primarily wanted to speak about the possible transfer of Juventus star and a Montenegro International Marko Vucinic.
The sources have also reported that Juan Guillermo Cuadrado will also be discussed, a player Arsenal were strongly linked with at the end of last year. Arsenal made contact with Lucci about the Fiorentina man a while back and have continued to ask about him.
Gianluca Di Marzio said at the time that Arsenal tried to sign the Cuadrado in the summer. He claimed a bid of €30m was offered by the Premier League club but this was turned down. There’s no talk of further bids being made for Cuadrado, or a first bid for Vucinic, but if Arsenal have sent someone to Milan to speak with Lucci then it shows there’s interest there.
