Breaking: ARSENAL LONGEST SERVING PLAYER TO LEAVE IN THE TRANSFER WINDOW!

Arsenal have been criticized mostly in the past for having technically weak players in the back four line and may be Johan Djorou was one of them. But he always made it up with his hard work. No one can forget his heroics against Lionel Messi where he gave the world’s best player a very tough time.

27 year old has been on loan from Arsenal and is ready to end up his 11 year love affair with The Gunners.

The Swiss defender has been with the Bundesliga side the start of season as he was warned by Arsene Wenger he would get little playing time in the run up to the World Cup in Brazil.

The 27-year-old has played in 20 out of 28 league games this season. This has resulted in a clause in his agreement being activated, sealing a permanent switch for the defender once his contract at Arsenal runs out in the summer.

But with Hamburg sitting second from bottom at 17th place in the league, in one of two relegation places, it remains to be seen whether Djourou would be happy to stay at a club out of Germany’s top division for the first time in its history.

Hamburg’s coach Mirko Slomka said, “I am happy that he’s staying with us for the next few years as he’s a stabilizing influence at the centre of our defence. “
