The Daily Star in England have revealed that the North London club Arsenal could be interested in signing the Argentine forward Ezequiel Lavezzi. They claim that Lavezzi’s talks with his club Paris Saint-Germain broke down which could consequently lead him to the Emirates.
Lavezzi spent five years at Napoli in the Serie A and then joined PSG in 2012. The 29-year-old is attracting interest from not only Arsenal but Chelsea and Liverpool too in England and Juventus and AC Milan in Italy.
It comes as a surprise as why would PSG let their winger leave this easily. He was a crucial first team player last season as he made 24 appearances for PSG in the Ligue 1.
Lavezzi is well-suited to Arsenal’s style of playing. The player will do well with so much fluidity in Arsenal’s game and Lavezzi also happens to be exceptional at beating defender to goals – something that Arsenal is in dire need of.
