The Gunners haven’t splashed their entire hefty transfer kitty and hence are well capable of spending a few more bucks on the players like Mesut Ozil.
Ofcourse they haven’t ended their summer activity with their primary transfer target (a striker) but are well favorites of landing any top quality goal scorer in January. Also, Arsenal’s form will help them competing with the rich giants of European football in the hunt for landing big players.
The papers suggest that Arsenal are lining up moves for young German attacking midfielders Marco Reus and Julian Draxler. Reus enjoyed a brilliant first season at Champions League runners up Borussia Dortmund and has established himself in the national side.
20-year-old Draxler was linked with numerous moves away from Schalke 04 this summer with many of the top European sides apparently willing to part with the £34 million asking price.
Now the noteworthy thing here is that if Arsenal achieve what they want to in the next window coupled with their sensational form, they are going to be a superpower without any oil money. This situation will call for one of the masterstrokes of management show by the one and only Arsene Wenger.
