Atletico Madrid are ready to make a summer bid for Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez, talkSPORT has revealed.
Chicharito has not made a lot of appearances this season, but he has been very effective for the Red Devils.
His lack of appearances might just be a little problem for Sir Alex Ferguson, as he has to choose from Rooney, Robin van Persie, Danny Welbeck and him. None of these four strikers are less deserving than the others, because they all have been equally impressive this season.
ATletico Madrid are hopeful that they will be able to bid £15million and sign him, where he will be promised first team football.
However, Eduardo Hernandez, who is Chicharito’s agent, ruled out Chicha’s chances of leaving United, claiming that the striker is happy at Old Trafford.
“Javier is thinking about his season in United. We are both not thinking about the market rumours,” he told ESPN Radio. “It’s true that in Manchester there is a lot of competition, but the boy has always played in a good way.
“For this reason I think that this isn’t the right moment to leave.”
