The transfer window is dead with Arsenal signing in a stellar signing finally and broke the bank for a quality player which the manager Arsene Wenger and Arsenal owners promised. Arsene Wenger has an admiration for the German players and today The Daily Mail has reported that Wenger will continue to persuade German talent in the January transfer window.
With six Germans already at the club Per Mertesacker, Lukas Podolski, Mesult Ozil, Serge Gnabry, Thomas Eisfeld and Gedion Zelalem the German paper Bild are linking Arsene Wenger with a move for three more in the shape of Marco Reus, Ilkay Gundogan and Lars Bender.
The Mail has also claimed that Arsenal are keeping an eye on Lukasz Piszczek who plays for Borussia Dortmund as a Right Back with Bacary Sagna’s future at the club in doubt. Arsenal will definitely be looking for a quality replacement. In addition, the Mail state that Wenger has asked to kept updated on the status of all three players with regular reports coming his way.
But the only worry for Wenger in this deal would be that Arsenal had a bid of around £18.5m for Lars Bender rejected in the summer while Jurgen Klopp has previously said he has no intention of selling Reus or Gundogan.
