Plenty has been going on in the recent past at Arsenal with talks regarding Arsene Wenger’s future still on peak. But it is likely that the veteran will pen the deal at the Emirates and prove his worth as a manager. It’s time for him to reap the benefits of his own hardwork for getting Arsenal out of the tight financial situations.
According to Daily Star, Arsene Wenger delivered the good news that Arsenal’s best defender Laurent Koscielny finally penning down the deal after a speculation regarding him joining Barcelona.
The signature of Koscielny has proven to be a major transfer window goal for Wenger, as he looks to strengthen an already strong back four. Arsenal has a joint best defensive record at home this season, sharing the honour with Chelsea, and their centre-back has been a major part in their success.
The good news doesn’t stop at the Koscielny deal, though. Wenger has also revealed that tenacious midfielder Jack Wilshire is also in contention for a start against all but relegated Norwich during the weekend.
