Arsenal are apparently looking to improve their defence, and they will bid for Raul Albiol in the summer.
The North Londoners are not enjoying this season as they have been knocked out of the FA Cup by Blackburn Rovers, and they are on the verge of elimination from the Champions League. The club is not doing very well in the Barclays as well because they are not even in the top four.
The Daily Mail has revealed that to cover up for their losses this season, Arsenal will try to sign Albiol.
With the increased use of Raphael Varane in the first team along with Sergio Ramos and Pepe, Albiol has been only featured six times this season.
Albiol is also a permanent feature of the Spain squad that played the Euros in 2008 and 2010, and also the World Cup for Spain in 2010.
