Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew claims that he is ‘armed’ to meet the future challenges if Arsenal make a late bid for Yohan Cabaye.
Arsenal are the only club that are interested in Cabaye, and it is ironical as how Pardew is preparing his side for post-Cabaye era because he, himself, had stated that he would not sell Cabaye to their ‘rivals’.
You cannot blame the man and for being proactive and for trying to keep options in mind because Andy Carroll left the Toons on the last day of the transfer window in 2011 for £35million and the side had to carry on with the season without a replacement in mind. The boss is confident that id Cabaye leaves, the Magpies will covr up and make a new signing.
Newcastle United have been linked to Florian Thauvin of Lille.
