Arsenal are looking very serious as they try to improve their squad after having a bad season. They have been linked with many players this summer, but perhaps the most interesting link is Gonzalo Higuain, as the Sunday Mirror has revealed.
Higuain has informed the officials at Bernabeu that he would like to join a club in England and play there next season, so he has asked for permission to initiate talks.
Though that will be a great boost for Arsenal, but Tottenham and Manchester City seem very interested in him as well.
However, Arsenal’s chances of signing him will depend on their league position at the end of the season, because the Gunners are currently struggling to win a spot in the UEFA Champions League.
Higuain has been rated as an excellent striker, but he receives lesser chances at Madrid now as Mourinho is more interested in using Karim Benzema.
