Arsenal to sign Everton’s defender to replace Sagna

Sky News reporter Enda Brady has revealed Arsene Wenger wants to sign Seamus Coleman and the Gunners will soon be launching a formal bid for the right-back.

The player was a right-midfielder under David Moyes at Everton but he was converted into a right-back by Roberto Martinez. This transititon even led him to score 6 goals in 36 league appearances for the Merseysiders. The player even earned a place in the 2014 PFA Team of the Year.

His excellent form has attracted interest and according to Enda Brady’s Twitter, Arsene Wenger is ‘very keen’ and wishes to launch a bid soon.

Arsenal have previously been linked to Coleman too, but this time, it is hoped that the deal substantializes since Bacary Sagna has left the club and joined Manchester City. Since Everton are sure of Arsenal’s needs, they will not let go off the player for cheap and Arsenal will

have to place a bid of around £20m.
