Julian Draxler seems to be the likely inclusion in this fantastic Arsenal squad which is complete and just needs a prolific goal scorer upfront alongside Giroud. But if Arsenal do manage to sign Draxler they will definitely need to release Ryo Miyachi who’s Arsenal career will reach an end definitely as Podolski, Cazorla, Ozil, Walcott, Ox and the potential Draxler signing will be above him in the pecking order.
The 21-year-old has struggled to establish himself in the Gunners first team since joining in 2011 and some suggested it could open the door for Julian Draxler to come in from Schalke.
That seems unlikely on the basis that Miyaichi isn’t a first team player and surely Draxler signing wouldn’t hinge on the wingers future. The German should be signed regardless and that could still be given his latest injury news.
Highly rated when he first joined the club many had high hopes for Miyaichi, especially after a successful spell with Feyenoord.
However disappointing spells at Bolton and Wigan, where he suffered injuries has halted his progress and he now seems behind several other players.
