Arsenal target to snub Man United for a move the Gunners

Real Betis player Alvaro Vadillo would only move to Arsenal if he were to move to the Premier League, his agent has revealed.

The 19-year-old has been in great form in the La Liga this season even though Betis are at the bottom of the table.

Sky Sports claim that a number of Premier League clubs including Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool and Manchester United are interested in signing the player whose style of play is often compared to that of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Manchester United and Arsenal have been planning to sign the player for a very long time. However, the player’s transfer came to a halt after he picked up a serious knee injury in October 2011.

However, since his return, he has been gaining attention of top Premier League clubs since then.

Also, his agent Jose Maria Sanchez de Puerta has revealed that he would like to join Arsenal.

He was questioned whether the player wishes to join an Italian side or not to which he replied that he would rather prefer joining an English club.

Speaking to Calciomercato, de Puerta said: “Yeah, he’d like Italy, being in a championship club with a lot of well-structured clubs, as well as of course he’d like England and Arsenal in particular.”

AC Milan and Fiorentina are the Serie A clubs interested in him.
