Can Arsenal return the favor for selling their so many stars to Barcelona? Notably and arguably their all-time best player in the Premier League Thiery Henry. The opportunity is there as the sources have reported that the North Londoners league leaders have almost snatched Munir El Haddadi from La Masia.

Arsenal are ready to try and snatch yet another academy product from Barcelona, reports the Daily Mirror.

Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich are also interested in the 18-year-old striker, although Barca hope to tie him down to a long contract.

But Arsenal have a long history of taking young Barcelona graduates before turning them in to stars at the Emirates.

Cesc Fabregas was taken from the famous La Masia academy as a 15-year-old before becoming their youngest goalscorer at 16 and their youngest captain at 21. More recently The Gunners have signed Jon Toral and Hector Bellerin who have made the same journey.

Barcelona remain hopeful that the teenager will sign a long-term deal but worry that Wenger’s track record of morphing starlets in to stars will sway El Haddadi towards north London.
