Reports today have emerged that Bacary Sagna most probably will be out of Emirates as his contract is ending this summer. Arsenal don’t want to offload a loyal servant to Arsenal and they, according to reports, have tried continuing the talks for the new contract. But the 30 year old thinks his journey at the Emirates has ended.
Arsenal don’t have a world class replacement for the Frenchman as Carl Jenkinson is still inexperienced to replace the Premier League’s one of the most solid full backs.
A number of clubs including Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco are believed to be interested in Sagna, who has one year to run on his contract at the Emirates. According to the report, the club have already set about scouting a replacement for the versatile Sagna.
Arsenal were pretty active in Summer to land a worthy replacement for the Frenchman as they were heavily linked with Spanish fullback Juanfran but the talks for some secret reasons failed. Let’s hope Arsene Wenger ends up signing a player of someone in Ozil’s class as they surely have the resources to do so.
