Arsenal have been linked to various strikers this summer but that’s not all. Arsenal are now being linked to Sao Paulo’s Rodrigo Caio, according to The Metro. Also, Brazilian sources are claiming that the Gunners have already made a £7 million offer to the club. Arsenal scouts have been scouting him throughout the Toulon tournament in France where he played for Brazil’s U-20 side.
Reports suggest that Arsenal’s chief scout Steve Rowley has already met the player’s agent Jorge Mendes and the talks are going fine. Sources claim that the Arsenal and the player’s representative are now waiting for Sao Paulo to give a final confirmation.
Rodrigo is said to be a very technical player and he is known for his ball distribution. The player is a clean player and makes smart tackles. He is known for his speed and he is often compared to Laurent Koscielny in his gameplay.
Arsene Wenger has a good transfer budget available and he needs to bring in a world class striker as well, but with Bacary Sagna gone, he will now have to sign a right-back as well.
