As we all know that Arsenal might face trouble if in any case their onlyt prolific and inform striker Olivier Giroud gets injured. The Frenchman has been in fantastic form scoring on regular basis in the Premier League and Champions League as well. Arsenal’s transfer signings hit a stall in the summer when because of time they couldn’t land their primary target, a striker.
But Arsenal have now resurrected their chase for the Chelsea’s striker Demba Ba. Ba seems to be feeling left alone at Chelsea as their new boss doesn’t link him in his future plans. Ba was all set to join the Gunners but Mourinho didn’t let the move happen as he felt that Arsenal will become a stronger force in the title race after they landed Ozil.
According to The Metro, Ba previously admitted that he is keen on a move to the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal are ready to resurrect a deal in the New Year.
It’s thought that a loan deal until the end of the season with a view to a £5million permanent transfer next summer is on the cards.
The 28-year-old, who is also wanted by Roma and Atletico Madrid, has made just one Premier League appearance for Chelsea this season.
