Arsenal always had a habit of having a fantastic depth in the midfield department. And that’s the case this season too. Despite of having no depth in the goal scoring department the goals from the midfield have made Arsenal Marathoning the league.
Since the reports today have emerged that Rosicky is off to Bayern Munich, Arsenal could very well be looking at the replacement. 18-year old PSG central midfielder Adrien Rabiot is willing to be let go by his employers this summer, reports Talksport. The French youth international has stalled on new contract talks with the free spending giants and is on the lookout for a move away from the club. Rabiot’s current deal with PSG expires in 2015.
Reports suggest that Wenger is now interested in raiding PSG for Rabiot, who has been impressive in his 17 Ligue-1 appearances for the French side.
10 of those 17 outings have been from the bench though and the 18-year old is looking for more first team opportunities elsewhere. Talksport reports that the continuous influx of foreign talent to the club has hindered Rabiot, who wants to be given more chances to develop.
