Arsenal have apparently made a move for their long-term target Julian Draxler by offering the club a £35m ‘package’ according to The Sun.
The German prodigy has been linked to Arsenal for over a year now with Arsene Wenger praising the player a few times in public.
Arsenal Station claim a deal could have been achieved last summer before Wenger signed Mesut Ozil. The Ozil deal, however, took place on the last day of the season
However, it is now that Wenger is in dire need of the player since Theo Walcott will be missing the rest of the season and a lot of sources claim Draxler is Wenger’s top target for this transfer period.
The Sun claim that Arsenal’s first offer is worth £35million which includes £20 million cash and Lukas Podolski who is valued by the club around £15 million. However, Lukas Podolski is a fan-favourite at Arsenal despite not frequently featuring in the starting XI.
