Ac Milan’s captain Montilivo’s agent has revealed that Arsenal are in talks with Riccardo Montilivo who is cited highly by the football pundits as is known as one of the best game dictators in the world.
Giovanni Branchini says the Gunners are joined by Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid in their interest, but admits a deal to take him away from the San Siro is unlikely.
Montolivo has had a fantastic season for AC Milan this season in what has otherwise been a dark time for the club. In all likelihood they will out on Champions League qualification this season after suffering from chronic bad form in Serie A.
Quotes spreading on the internet by the agent says, “Milan have had a difficult season so far and I think I can say that Riccardo Montolivo has been one of the brightest notes. He became a fixture of the Rossoneri and was even given the captain’s armband as proof. He is very happy with the club to which he belongs, and the club and fans are very satisfied with him. Has there been interest from other clubs? There have been tentative enquiries from Atletico Madrid, [Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen] Klopp and Arsenal, to name a few.”
