Arsenal eyeing a move for Manchester United’s Nani

There has been some reports which have claimed that Arsenal are lining up a sensational raid on Manchester United in the summer as the Independent have claimed they will make a move to try and prise Nani to the Emirates.

Even though he put in a brilliant display against Reading in the FA cup last week, which prompted boss Sir Alex Ferguson to come out and admit he still has a future at the club.

The 26-year-old’s stellar display has not altered his pessimism about his United future, which was magnified by the blow of being excluded from the 18-man squad which drew away at Real Madrid last week. An exit is likely this summer, when Wilfried Zaha arrives from Crystal Palace. Arsenal may renew their interest, with money at their disposal. (The Independent)

It could be a surprising move but this move is not impossible as Nani is having trouble with his contract. His agent and Manchester United are still trying to resolve the contract issue. Arsenal do need a top class player and Nani on his day is one of those players which Arsenal need.

Nani, according to the stats has more assists than any other player in the Premier League since August 2009.
