As we all know the Gunners were looking for a world class striker losing out on the likes of Luis Suarez and Gonzalo Higuain. Landing both of the strikers could have meant spending a bulk of cash. But there is some good news for the Gunners as they can sign a quality striker but with no money at all.
Juventus new signing this season, Fernando Llorente hasn’t had a good start to his Italian league career as he his way below the pecking order from Carlos Tevez and Vucinic.
Fifa agent Francois Gallardo has backed the striker to leave the Italian giants and move to Premier League, having left Athletic Bilbao on a free this summer.
“Fernando Llorente could get transferred to Premier League and play in the Champions League, as he is not getting minutes with Juve.
Now the fresh reports today have suggested that the Gunners have stepped in joining the big guns who all want his services. But the plus point is that Llorente seems to be interested in Arsenal following the Ozil signing. Reports have suggested that Llorente has told his friend about his desire to play for Arsenal as he would have very less competition fitting in.
Ozil’s signing is certainly proving to be a hit with him attracting many more world class players at North London. And Llorente is certainly an ideal signing behind their world class midfield.
