After the tireless negotiations for different players, Arsene Wenger has strongly insisted that he is in pursuit for three top class summer signings and has hinted that the negotiations are in a successful and advanced state.
Wenger also said that he is ready to splash the 100m kitty he had for transfers. Despite of having a huge transfer muscle no deals have been officially announced except Yaya Sanogo on a free transfer.
Wenger in his today’s press conference spoke to the media ahead of the game against Aston Villa that, “It’s not a question of spending the money it’s a question of finding the right players. We are not scared to spend money. We want the right players we look more for quality than for numbers. The first request is the quality to player for Arsenal”
Adding to that he insisted that Arsenal are going to sign three players, “After the number comes in, yes we would like two or three players, if possible more. But we won’t compromise on the quality of the players.”
Arsenal had a £40million and a quid bid turned down by Liverpool, who have said that The Uruguayan Luis Suarez is not for sale also the Gunners’ boss has refused to discuss whether he is in for English stellar striker Wayne Rooney from the current Premier League champions.
