Arsenal’s strike department is about to be loaded with the Spain’s best upcoming talent as Arsenal have reportedly agreed a deal with the Los Blancos to sign Morata. The young striker has been spoken about really high by the pundits with many comparing him with the great Raul Gonzalez.
The Spaniard has failed to make the starting line up on a regular basis at Madrid and is thereby willing to make the move to England so as to raise his chances to make the World Cup squad travelling to Brazil in 2014. The striker has made only one start in the La Liga this season, followed by nine appearances from the bench, scoring two goals in the process.
The report states that the 21 year old striker has apparently accepted an offer to join the North London club until the end of the season, no doubt feeling that his chances of securing first team football will be more easily achieved at the Emirates Stadium than at the Bernabeu.
Morata wants first team football but knows he faces a battle to get in to the starting line up with the likes of Karim Benzema, Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of him.
Now it would be interesting to see whether Arsene Wenger has integrated a clause which allows the Gunners to buy the striker permanently because with Ozil behind, Morata could score many.
