Andrea Pirlo fears to face Manchester United in the next round of the Champions league.Although Manchester United’s chance of reaching into the next round of the champions league still hangs in the balance after their 1-1 draw against Real Madrid but Andrea Pirlo still believes that United is still a stronger side than Juventus .
Andrea Pirlo believes his side still does not have the quality of being the Champions but believes that his team is in the development phase. He told that :
“We’re not ready to win the Champions League, even if we are still in there and giving it a go.”
“There are sides in the competition who are a lot stronger than us.”
“Real Madrid and Manchester United? They are not that far away, but they are strong, stronger than us.”
“They have champions all over the place, while we don’t. This is just the beginning for us.”
Juventus will reach to quarter finals of the champions league at the expense of surprise package Celtic and Pirlo believes that his team still needs some time to compete with the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester United .
Pirlo’s contract will expire this summer and he is yet to decide his future . About his future he told that:
“I was told by someone that I was wanted in the summer. It was pleasing given my age, but I chose to stay.”
“I still have a year to go on my contract and then we’ll see.”
“I’ll continue playing for as long as I feel like it.”
“I’ve got no plan. I just think about objectives — to win again with Juventus and target the World Cup for Italy.”
