AVB has taunted Arsenal by saying that “I bet you wish you were still in Europe like us.”
Tottenham currently are sitting at the third place with seven points and two places above their North London rivals and is feeling confident of Champions league qualification .
Tottenham has also qualified for Europa league quarter final and have a busy schedule in form of six matches in next four weeks but AVB believes that the burden of matches will not give Arsenal an Edge.
He mocked Arsenal by saying that
“I’m not sure about that. I think the objective of a European trophy means a lot to every single club and to the players as well.”
“All that matters in the end is the result and the fact we made progress.”
“I am sure Arsenal would have traded what we have been through to score one more goal in Munich and win the tie.”
“We are tired physically but I think emotionally it will give us an edge.”
