Andre Villa Boas quietly Slams Sir Alex

Andre Villa-Boas thinks that it is better to stay quiet when asked about what he thinks of Sir Alex Ferguson’s influence over the referees at Old Trafford.

Sir Alex Ferguson’s side will face AVB’s side tonight as Spurs will travel to Old Trafford for the Premier League fixture. However, AVB claims that he will not be scared by Sir Alex at Old Trafford. Many teams complain that referees favour Manchester United at Old Trafford but that’s just how every team covers up their loss. No one admits their own mistake.

He was asked if Sir Alex has an influence over the referees, AVB said: “It’s an interesting question, but it’s one that’s impossible to respond to here.It would be brilliant to be able to answer it, but I paid a high fine last time and I don’t want to again.vI’ll certainly not stop expressing myself at Old Trafford.”

Villas-Boas was fined £12,000 for blaming referee Chris Foy after Chelsea’s defeat at the hands of QPR last season.

Chris Foy has been appointed as the referee tonight.

AVB was asked if he could get a penalty in front of Stretford End to which he said: “That question puts pressure on the ref, which we can’t do.”

Sir Alex has not yet spoken on this and AVB might become the target of his mind games.
