According to the very reliable Forza Italia, Arsenal are linked with a move for Mario Balotelli in the coming summer transfer window. The Italian no doubt is one of the best strikers in the world who possesses dangerous prolific finishing and set pieces ability coupled with pace & strength. It won’t be erroneous to term him as the next Henry for Arsenal if Arsene manages to secure his services.
The Italian had some disciplinary issues in the past but who doesn’t? Wayne Rooney who has been Premier League’s one of the best strikers had his share of controversies but he did manage to get rid of them under the superb management of Sir Alex. Balotelli can do that to under the management of Arsene Wenger who is currently the most experienced of the lot.
According to Sports Direct News, the Italian enjoyed his time at Manchester City despite having a torrid time in England with the country’s press.
While it is unknown whether the former Inter striker would agree to a return to the country, the report suggest Wenger will still inquire about a possible summer move.
Balotelli joined AC Milan in a deal worth around €23 million in January 2013 from Manchester City.
So far this season Balotelli has scored nine goals in 16 league games, while Arsenal’s starting striker Olivier Giroud has started 22 games and scored 10 goals in the league.
