A tribute to Manchester United legend Kenny Morgan

The Manchester United legend  and the welsh survivor of Munich air disaster Kenny Morgan has passed away today at the age of 73 .He was taken ill on Saturday night and passed away latter in the hospital .Kenny Morgan was among the  survivors whose plane crashed in Munich after refueling on return flight .Today the staff of Manchester United sent  their deepest condolence to Kenny’s Morgan friends and family .

Kenny Morgan enjoyed an illustrious footballing  career where  he started his career at Manchester United as a winger in late 1950′s .He made his debut at the age of 18 against   Leicester City .

 

Kenny Morgan made 23 appearances for Manchester United .17 league , 2 FA cup  and 4 European cup but never found the net as a Manchester United player .Kenny although throughout his career played major part  of his soccer in his native country ,leaving Manchester United for Swansea in 1961 .

 

 

Kenny Morgan then  latter on joined Newport County before retiring in 1967.

Kenny recently returned to Old Trafford  before his death as a guest of honor at   association of Former Manchester United Players dinner.
